Green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) is a New Zealand shellfish, from which an extract has been shown to be useful in promoting healthy joint function. Lyprinex is a Life Plus product that contains Lyprinol, a patented, stabilized extract of oils derived from New Zealand’s green-lipped mussel. It contains a unique mixture of Omega-3 fatty acids, including a number of eicosatetraenoic acids (ETAs) that are not active in green-lipped mussel powders or extracts. Lyprinex may be more expensive than some other supplements that use green-lipped mussel powders or extracts because the Lyprinol extract contained in Lyprinex is superior to these.

Lyprinex^TM is manufactured utilizing a patented extraction process to stabilize the oil derived from the green-lipped mussels to maximize its beneficial qualities. Lyprinex blocks the cox and lox pathways to an extent, thereby blocking or reducing the formation of leukotrienes and prostaglandins which are associated with joint pain. This is different than glucosamine or chondroitin sulfates, which increase the supply of these elements in your body and support the molecules that provide lubrication to your joints. Lyprinex comes in small, easy-to-swallow caplets, thus providing a convenient way to supply additional support to your joints and connective tissue so they can maintain youthful ease and range of movement and flexibility. †

DIRECTIONS: One capsule once or twice a day as desired. More can be taken as needed. For the first 7 - 10 days, take two capsules twice a day.
